1. Park the tractor on a level surface, and engage the parking brake.
2. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery to prevent any electrical accidents.
3. Remove the front wheels.
4. Remove the cotter pin that secures the drag link to the steering arm.
5. Use a wrench to loosen and remove the nuts that attach the drag link to the steering arm and spindle.
6. Remove the drag link from the tractor.
7. To install the new drag link, reverse the removal procedure.
8. Tighten the nuts on the steering arm and spindle until they are snug.
9. Install the cotter pin to secure the drag link to the steering arm.
10. Reconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
11. Install the front wheels.
