How do you change a headlight bulb on 1986 Toyota Tarago?

Tools and Materials Needed:

Instructions:

1. Park your vehicle in a safe and well-lit area. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.

>

3. Open the hood of the vehicle. Refer to your vehicle's owner's manual for instructions on how to do this.

>

4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the headlight bulb. Locate the electrical connector attached to the back of the headlight assembly. Press the release tab or squeeze the connector's sides to disconnect it from the bulb socket.

>

5. Remove the retaining ring or spring that holds the headlight bulb in place. This can usually be done by turning the ring or spring counterclockwise with your fingers or using a screwdriver.

>

6. Take out the old headlight bulb from the headlight assembly. Be careful not to drop it.

>

7. Insert the new headlight bulb into the headlight assembly. Make sure the bulb is properly seated and secure in the socket.

>

8. Replace the retaining ring or spring to secure the headlight bulb. Tighten it securely, but not too tightly.

>

9. Reconnect the electrical connector to the headlight bulb. Make sure the connector is securely attached.

>

10. Close the hood of the vehicle and test the new headlight bulb. Turn on the headlights to ensure the new bulb is working properly.
