How do you sewt up Mazda t3500 diesel pump timing?

To set up the Mazda T3500 Diesel Pump Timing, you will need the following:

1. Mazda T3500 Diesel Engine

2. Timing Light

3. Injectior Pump Holder

4. TDC Pin

5. Injector Nozzle Holder

Step 1: Locate the TDC Pin and Timing Marks.

The TDC (top dead center) pin is located on the front of the engine block. It is usually a small, round metal pin with a hole in the center. The timing marks are located on the camshaft gear and the fuel injection pump gear.

Step 2: Install the Injector Pump Holder.

Install the injector pump holder to the engine block using the provided bolts.

Step 3: Insert the TDC Pin.

Insert the TDC pin into the hole in the TDC pin on the engine block.

Step 4: Install the Injector Nozzle Holder.

Install injector nozzle holder to the injector nozzles.

Step 5: Set the Timing Light.

Step 6: Align the Timing Marks.

Rotate the engine until the TDC pin is aligned with the timing mark on the camshaft gear.

Step 7: Adjust the Fuel Injection Pump.

Loosen the fuel injection pump mounting bolts. Turn the fuel injection pump until the timing light flashes when the TDC pin is aligned with the timing mark on the camshaft gear. Tighten fuel injection pump bolts to secure it in place.

Step 8: Check the Timing.

Start the engine and check the timing with the timing light. If the timing is not correct, repeat the procedure.
