1. Remove the door panel.
* Insert a flat-head screwdriver into the gap between the door panel and the door frame, near the top of the door.
* Pry up on the screwdriver to loosen the door panel clips.
* Continue prying up the clips around the perimeter of the door panel.
* Once all the clips are loose, lift the door panel up and off the door.
2. Disconnect the door handle linkage.
* Locate the door handle linkage rod, which is attached to the back of the door handle.
* Disconnect the linkage rod from the door handle by pressing on the release tab.
3. Remove the door handle mounting bolts.
* There are two bolts that hold the door handle in place.
* Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the bolts.
4. Remove the door handle.
* Once the bolts are removed, you can remove the door handle from the door.
5. Reinstall the door handle in reverse order.
* To reinstall the door handle, simply follow the steps in reverse order.
Tips:
* Be careful not to damage the door panel or the door frame when removing the door panel.
* If you have trouble removing the door panel, you may need to use a trim removal tool.
* Be careful not to lose the door handle linkage rod when you disconnect it from the door handle.
