Materials and Tools Needed:
- Wrench or socket set
- Pliers
- Rag or towel
Instructions:
1. Start by locating the vent tube on the transmission. It's usually a small, plastic, or rubber hose attached to the side of the transmission.
2. Place a rag or towel under the vent tube to catch any fluid that might leak out.
3. Using a wrench or socket, loosen the clamp or fitting that secures the vent tube.
4. Once the clamp is loose, use pliers to gently pull the vent tube off the fitting.
5. Discard the old vent tube and install a new one (if needed).
6. Reinstall the clamp and tighten it securely.
7. Start the car and let it run for a few minutes. Check the vent tube for leaks and ensure that it's securely connected.
8. If there are no leaks, you've successfully unplugged the vent tube on the 350 Turbo transmission.
Note: Please refer to your car's service manual for specific instructions related to your vehicle's vent tube location, removal, and installation procedures. Additionally, take safety precautions when working underneath the car, such as using jack stands and chocks to prevent the vehicle from moving while you work.
