Materials
- New fuel pump for 1991 Geo Metro
- Fuel filter
- Fuel injector cleaner
- Safety goggles

Instructions:
1. Park your Geo Metro on a level surface and turn off the engine. Turn on the parking brake and chock the wheels.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent electrical shock.
3. Locate the fuel pump which is located under the rear seat of your Geo Metro.
4. Remove the fuel pump assembly from the vehicle by following the steps outlined in your vehicle’s repair manual.
5. Remove the old fuel pump from the assembly.
6. Replace the old fuel pump with the new one.
7. Reinstall the fuel pump assembly into your Geo Metro.
8. Reinstall the negative battery cable.
9. Start your Geo Metro and check for leaks. If there are any leaks, tighten the fuel line connections until the leaks stop.
10. Perform a fuel pressure test to ensure the new fuel pump is working properly. If the fuel pressure is not within the specifications listed in your vehicle’s repair manual, there may be a problem with the installation or the fuel pump itself.
