How do you get the hatch open on a 88 Camaro with key not opening it Also NO power lid release button console and interior in tack?

1. Insert a flat head screwdriver into the door jam of the hatch. There should be a small notch there.

2. Push down on the screwdriver with even force. This will disengage the lock mechanism.

3. Lift up on the hatch. It should open easily now.
