How do you change an Accelerator cable on a Dodge Ram 1500?

Tools and Materials Needed:

- Pliers

- Screwdriver

- Socket wrench

- New accelerator cable

Steps:

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable

2. Locate the accelerator cable.

3. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the gas pedal.

4. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the throttle body.

5. Remove the old accelerator cable.

6. Feed the new accelerator cable through the firewall and connect to the gas pedal.

7. Connect the new accelerator cable to the throttle body.

8. Reconnect the negative battery cable

9. Test the new accelerator cable to ensure proper function.
