1. Park the truck in a safe location and turn off the engine.
2. Open the driver's side door and locate the lower dash panel. It is the plastic panel that runs along the bottom of the dashboard.
3. There are two screws that hold the lower dash panel in place. Remove the screws using a Phillips head screwdriver.
4. Once the screws are removed, gently pry the lower dash panel off the dashboard. Be careful not to damage the panel or the surrounding trim.
5. Once the lower dash panel is removed, you can see the turn signal-hazard relay. It is mounted on the left side of the steering column, near the fuse box.
6. The relay is held in place by two screws. Remove the screws using a Phillips head screwdriver.
7. Once the screws are removed, gently pry the relay out of its socket. Be careful not to drop the relay.
8. Inspect the relay for any visible damage. If the relay is damaged, it will need to be replaced.
9. If the relay is not damaged, you can reinstall it. To do this, simply insert the relay into the socket and tighten the screws.
10. Reinstall the lower dash panel and the two screws that hold it in place.
11. Test the turn signals and hazard lights to make sure they are working properly.
