Here is how to remove it from the top:
1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Drain the coolant and oil.
3. Remove the air cleaner assembly and throttle body.
4. Remove the radiator and the fan assembly.
5. Remove the upper intake manifold.
6. Remove the fuel injectors and fuel rail.
7. Remove the exhaust manifolds.
8. Remove the starter motor.
9. Remove the transmission and torque converter assembly.
10. Remove the engine mounts and lift the engine out of the vehicle.
Here is how to remove the engine from the bottom:
1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Drain the coolant and oil.
3. Remove the air cleaner assembly and throttle body.
4. Remove the radiator and the fan assembly.
5. Remove the lower intake manifold.
6. Remove the oil pan.
7. Remove the timing belt cover and the timing belt.
8. Remove the harmonic balancer.
9. Remove the flywheel or flex plate.
10. Remove the engine mounts and lower the engine out of the vehicle.
