1. Remove the rear window trim panel.
To do this, use a pry tool to carefully pry the trim panel away from the door frame, starting at the top and working your way down. Be careful not to damage the trim panel or the door frame.
2. Locate the window regulator and motor assembly.
The window regulator and motor assembly is located behind the trim panel. It is a metal frame that holds the window glass in place and moves it up and down.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the window motor.
The electrical connector is located on the side of the window motor. To disconnect it, simply press the release tab and pull the connector apart.
4. Remove the window regulator and motor assembly.
To remove the window regulator and motor assembly, remove the four bolts that hold it in place. Once the bolts are removed, you can lift the assembly out of the door.
5. Replace the window regulator and motor assembly.
To replace the window regulator and motor assembly, simply reverse the steps you took to remove it. Make sure to connect the electrical connector to the window motor before you reinstall the trim panel.
6. Test the window to make sure it is working properly.
