* 10mm socket
* 1/4-inch drive ratchet
* Pry bar
* Mallet
* New freeze plug
* RTV sealant
Instructions:
1. Jack up the front of the Bronco until you have enough clearance to access the bottom of the engine.
2. Locate the freeze plug you need to replace. It will be a round metal disc, usually located on the side of the engine block.
3. Use a 10mm socket and 1/4-inch drive ratchet to remove the two bolts holding the freeze plug in place.
4. Use a pry bar to pry the old freeze plug out of the hole. Be careful not to damage the engine block.
5. Use a mallet to tap the new freeze plug into place. Be sure to tap evenly around the entire circumference of the plug.
6. Apply a thin layer of RTV sealant around the edge of the new freeze plug. This will help to ensure that the plug stays in place and does not leak.
7. Lower the Bronco and start the engine. Let the engine run for a few minutes to allow the RTV sealant to set.
