* Phillips head screwdriver
* Flathead screwdriver
* 5.25-inch car audio speaker (with an impedance between 4 and 8 ohms)
Instructions:
1. Open the front door of your Mazda MPV.
2. Locate the phillips-head screw on the front door near the speaker.
3. Remove the phillips-head screw.
4. There will be two holes exposed once you remove the phillips-head screw.
5. Take your flat-head screwdriver and insert the tip of it into one of the holes. Pry up with the screwdriver. There will be a clip under the panel that will pop out.
6. Repeat step 5 on the other hole. Be careful not to insert the screwdriver too deep or you may damage the door panel.
7. Gently pull the door panel away from the door. Be careful not to pull too hard, as the panel is still connected by wires.
8. Disconnect the speaker wires from the back of the speaker.
9. Remove the old speaker from the door panel.
10. Place the new speaker in the door panel.
11. Connect the speaker wires to the back of the new speaker.
12. Replace the door panel.
13. Insert and reconnect the phillips-head screw.
