How do you change the headlight bulb on a 2006 Mitsubishi outlander?

Changing the headlight bulb on a 2006 Mitsubishi Outlander:

Note: Before you begin, make sure your car is parked in a safe location, turned off, and the parking brake is engaged.

Tools needed:

- Phillips head screwdriver

- Socket wrench and extension bar

- New headlight bulb (H7 type)

- Clean gloves

Instructions:

1. Open the hood of your Outlander.

2. Locate the headlight assembly you need to replace the bulb.

3. Turn the black plastic cover counter - clockwise to remove it.

4. Locate the bulb holder and turn it counter - clockwise to loosen it.

5. Carefully remove the old bulb from the holder.

6. Take the new bulb and insert it into the holder, turning it clockwise to secure it.

7. Replace the bulb holder back into the headlight assembly, turning it clockwise to tighten it.

8. Put the black cover back on, turning it clockwise to tighten it.

9. Close the hood and your bulb replacement is complete.
