Turn off the engine. Make sure the engine is completely cool before you begin.
Locate the fuel pressure bleed valve. The fuel pressure bleed valve should be located on the fuel injector rail. There will be a small cap labeled "FUEL INJECTION BLEED VALVE."
Place a rag beneath the bleed valve. This will help to catch any fuel that sprays out of the valve.
Loosen the bleed valve. Use a screwdriver or other tool to loosen the bleed valve.
Turn the engine over. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position, but do not start the engine.
Fuel should spray out of the bleed valve. Let the fuel spray out until it is solid and free of air bubbles.
Retighten the bleed valve. Tighten the bleed valve until it is snug.
Start the engine. The engine should start normally.
Let the engine run for a few minutes. This will help to circulate the fuel through the system and remove any remaining air bubbles.
Check for leaks. Inspect the fuel system for any leaks. If you see any leaks, stop driving the car and have it repaired immediately.
