- Check the fuel pressure and filter.

- Check the spark plugs, wires, and distributor cap and rotor (if applicable).
- Test for spark.

- Check the air filter for blockages.
- Clean the throttle body.
- Check for vacuum leaks.

- Check the battery connections and terminals.
- Check the starter motor and solenoid.
- Check all fuses and relays.
