Locate the tail light assembly on the rear of your vehicle. It is usually located on the side of the vehicle, near the trunk or tailgate.
Open the trunk or tailgate of your vehicle. Locate the access panel for the tail light assembly. It is usually located on the inside of the trunk or tailgate, near the tail light assembly.
Remove the access panel. This is usually done by removing the screws or bolts that hold the access panel in place.
Locate the tail light bulb socket. It is usually located inside the tail light assembly, and it holds the tail light bulb in place.
Turn the tail light bulb socket counterclockwise to remove it.
Remove the old tail light bulb from the socket.
Insert the new tail light bulb into the socket.
Turn the tail light bulb socket clockwise to secure it.
Replace the access panel.
Close the trunk or tailgate of your vehicle.
