1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Raise the front end of the vehicle and place jack stands underneath it.
3. Locate the steering shaft. It is located in the center of the engine, behind the oil filter.
4. Remove the bolts that hold the steering shaft to the engine block.
5. Gently pry the steering shaft out of the way. Be careful not to damage any of the components nearby.
6. Locate the spark plugs behind the steering shaft. They are located on the back side of the engine block.
7. Use a spark plug wrench to loosen the spark plugs.
8. Remove the spark plugs and install new ones.
9. Tighten the spark plugs to the recommended torque.
10. Replace the steering shaft and bolts.
11. Lower the vehicle and reconnect the negative battery cable.
