1. Park your vehicle on a level surface.
2. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.
3. Locate the power steering fluid reservoir. It is a black plastic tank with a yellow cap. It is located on the passenger side of the engine compartment, near the firewall.
4. Remove the cap from the reservoir.
5. Check the fluid level. It should be between the "FULL" and "ADD" marks on the dipstick.
6. If the fluid level is low, add enough fluid to bring it up to the "FULL" mark.
7. Replace the cap on the reservoir.
To add power steering fluid, follow these steps:
1. Locate the power steering fluid reservoir.
2. Remove the cap from the reservoir.
3. Use a funnel to add enough fluid to bring the level up to the "FULL" mark.
4. Replace the cap on the reservoir.
Be sure to use the correct type of power steering fluid for your vehicle. The recommended fluid is Dexron III automatic transmission fluid.
