Method 1: Disconnecting the Battery

Method 2: Removing the Bulb

3. Remove the instrument cluster trim panel by using a flat-head screwdriver to pry it off gently.
4. Locate the service engine soon light bulb within the instrument cluster.
5. Remove the bulb by carefully pulling it out or twisting it counterclockwise (if applicable).
Method 3: Using an OBD II Scanner (Not Recommended)
1. Connect an OBD II scanner to your vehicle's diagnostic port (usually located under the dashboard).
2. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position (do not start the engine).
3. Follow the prompts on the scanner to access the engine control unit (ECU).
4. Look for the option to clear or reset trouble codes.
5. Select the option to clear or reset the codes.
Remember, tampering with emission control devices or disabling warning lights can lead to legal consequences and environmental issues. It is always best to address the underlying cause of the service engine soon light rather than disabling it.
