Crankshaft positioning sensor 1994 Honda civic D16Z6 motor?

1994 Honda Civic Crankshaft Position Sensor Location:

- Below the distributor and mounted on the transmission bell housing.

Removal & Installation:

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the distributor cap and rotor.

3. Disconnect the CKP sensor connector.

4. Remove the two 12mm bolts that hold the sensor in place.

5. Carefully pry the sensor out of the engine block.

NOTE: _Be careful not to damage the sensor or the engine block when prying it out._

6. Apply a small amount of sealant to the new sensor's O-ring.

7. Carefully insert the new sensor into the engine block.

8. Install the two 12mm bolts that hold the sensor in place.

9. Connect the CKP sensor connector.

10. Install the distributor cap and rotor.

11. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
