How do you add transmission fluid to a 2000 Isuzu Trooper if there is no dipstick?

There is no transmission fluid dipstick on a 2000 Isuzu Trooper. Instead, the transmission fluid level is checked through a fill plug located on the side of the transmission. To check the transmission fluid level, follow these steps:

1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and turn off the engine.

2. Allow the transmission to cool down for at least 15 minutes.

3. Locate the transmission fill plug. It is located on the driver's side of the transmission, near the top.

4. Remove the fill plug.

5. Insert a finger into the fill hole. The transmission fluid should be at the same level as the bottom of the fill hole.

6. If the transmission fluid is low, add fluid through the fill hole until it reaches the proper level.

7. Replace the fill plug.
