1. Park your car on a level surface and turn off the engine.
2. Open the hood of your car.
3. Locate the fuel filter. It is usually located near the engine, on the driver's side.
4. Disconnect the fuel lines from the fuel filter. There are two fuel lines, one that goes to the engine and one that goes to the fuel tank.
5. Use a wrench to loosen the fuel filter mounting bolts.
6. Remove the fuel filter from the car.
7. Install the new fuel filter.
8. Tighten the fuel filter mounting bolts.
9. Reconnect the fuel lines to the fuel filter.
10. Start the engine and check for leaks.
