1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and apply the parking brake.

2. If you don’t have a floor jack, find an appropriately-sized block of wood or sturdy bricks.

3. Loosen the lug nuts on the front wheels, but do not remove them completely.

4. Raise the vehicle with the floor jack or drive it up wooden ramps until the front wheels are off the ground.

5. Remove the lug nuts and wheels.

6. Remove the brake caliper by removing the two bolts holding it in place.

7. Support the brake caliper and ensure that it does not hang on the brake hose.

8. Remove the two screws that hold the brake disc to the hub.

9. Using a rubber mallet, gently tap the brake disc to loosen it from the hub.

10. Remove the brake disc from the hub.
