1. Make sure the fuel line is properly connected.
- The fuel line should be securely attached to the fuel filter and the carburetor. If it is not, fuel will not be able to flow through the line.
2. Check the fuel filter for debris.
- If the fuel filter is clogged with debris, it will restrict the flow of fuel. Remove the fuel filter and inspect it for any dirt or debris. If the fuel filter is clogged, clean or replace it.
3. Ensure the carburetor is clean.
- If the carburetor is dirty, it may not be able to properly mix fuel and air, resulting in a lack of power. Remove the carburetor and clean it with carburetor cleaner.
4. Check the spark plug.
- A faulty spark plug can prevent the engine from starting. Remove the spark plug and check for any damage or wear. If the spark plug is damaged or worn, replace it.
5. Check the air filter.
- A dirty air filter can restrict airflow to the engine, resulting in a lack of power. Remove the air filter and clean or replace it.
If you have checked all of these things and the engine is still not getting gas, you may need to take it to a qualified mechanic for further diagnosis and repair.
