1. Start the engine and shift to Park (P).
2. Locate the transmission fluid dipstick near the right or front part of the engine bay, it is next to the engine oil but the color is pink for ATF.
3. Take out the dipstick and wipe it clean, reinsert it and take it out to check the level.
4. The transmission fluid level should be between the "Cool" and "Hot" marks on the dipstick.
5. If the transmission fluid level is low, add enough Dexron® III transmission fluid to bring the level to the proper mark.
6. Replace the dipstick and tighten the cap.
