- Use a flat-head screwdriver to loosen and remove the screws or clips.

- Lift the distributor cap to remove it.

2. Remove the Rotor.

- Once the distributor cap is removed, you will see the rotor.

- The rotor sits on top of the distributor shaft.

- To remove the rotor, simply pull it straight up.

3. Locate and Remove the Pick Up Plate.

- To remove the stator pick up, use a small pick to pry it out.

- Be careful not to damage the stator pick up while prying it out.

- Once the stator pickup is removed, clean the mounting surface with a small brush.

- Apply a thin coat of anti-seize to the mounting surface.

- Now position the new stator pickup into place.

- Press it into the mounting surface until it is seated properly.

5. Reassemble the Distributor.

- Tighten all the screws and bolts securely.

6. Start the Vehicle.

- After reassembling the distributor, start the vehicle.

- Check for any leaks or unusual noises.
