Where is the camshaft position sensor located on a 3.0 V6 for Taurus?

2000-2007 Ford Taurus 3.0L Location (Located on the left rear of the engine, beneath the intake manifold.)

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the upper intake manifold.

3. Locate the camshaft position sensor on the left rear of the engine, beneath the intake manifold. It is a cylindrical sensor with a 2-pin connector.

4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the camshaft position sensor.

5. Use a 10 mm wrench to remove the two bolts that hold the sensor in place and remove sensor.
