Where is the fuse for cigarette lighter in a 1990 MX6?

1. Locate the fuse box. In a 1990 MX6, it is located under the dashboard, on the driver's side.

2. Open the fuse box cover. There should be a diagram of the fuse locations on the inside of the cover.

3. Locate the fuse for the cigarette lighter. It will be labeled "CIG LIGHTER" or something similar.

4. Remove the fuse. Use a fuse puller or needle nose pliers to gently pull the fuse straight up out of its socket.

5. Inspect the fuse. If the fuse is blown, the metal filament inside will be broken.

6. Replace the fuse. If the fuse is blown, replace it with a new fuse of the same amperage. Push the new fuse into its socket until it snaps into place.

7. Close the fuse box cover.
