On a 2001 tracker with 2.0 4-cylinder is there such thing as an oil sensor you can not find out any information on this at all?

The 2001 Tracker does not have an oil pressure sensor. Instead, it uses an oil pressure switch. The switch is located on the side of the engine block, just above the oil filter. It is a simple on/off switch that closes when the oil pressure reaches a certain level. When the switch is closed, it completes the circuit to the oil pressure gauge, which then reads the oil pressure.
