1. Open the hood of your Megane.
2. Locate the coolant reservoir. It is usually a translucent plastic container with a black cap.
3. Follow the coolant hose that leads out of the reservoir to the thermostat housing.
4. The thermostat housing is usually located on the front of the engine, near the top. It is a round or oval-shaped metal housing with two hoses attached to it.
5. The thermostat is located inside the thermostat housing.
Here are some additional tips for finding the thermostat on a Renault Megane:
- If you are having trouble locating the coolant reservoir, look for a small cap with the word "Coolant" written on it.
- If you are having trouble locating the thermostat housing, follow the upper radiator hose. It will lead you to the thermostat housing.
