1. Locate the ignition coils. The ignition coils are located on the top of the engine, near the spark plugs. They are black cylindrical-shaped components with a wire attached to each one.
2. Remove the old ignition coils. Use a 10mm socket to loosen the bolts that hold the ignition coils in place. Once the bolts are loose, you can pull the ignition coils straight up out of the engine.
3. Inspect the old ignition coils. Check the ignition coils for any damage, such as cracks or corrosion. If you see any damage, replace the ignition coil.
4. Install the new ignition coils. Place the new ignition coils into the engine. Make sure that the gaskets are properly seated. Tighten the bolts that hold the ignition coils in place.
5. Connect the wires. Attach the wires to the ignition coils. Make sure that the wires are properly connected.
6. Start the engine. Start the engine and check for any problems. If the engine is running smoothly, the ignition coils have been installed correctly.
