Where is the camshaft position sensor on a 2004 Jetta GL 4-cylinder BBW engine?

2.0L BBW Engine:

- The camshaft position sensor (G40) is located on the rear side of the cylinder head, at the top of the camshaft.

- It is just below the center camshaft bearing cap, near the firewall side.

- The sensor is held in place by a single bolt.
