1. Park your car in a safe and well-lit area, and turn off the engine.
Ensure the parking brake is engaged and the vehicle is in Park (for automatic transmissions).
2. Open the hood of your car.
There is a lever under the steering wheel near the driver’s left foot. Pull the lever, then open the hood from the outside of your car.
3. Locate the headlight assembly.
The headlight assembly is located behind the front bumper. It is held in place by several bolts.
4. Remove the bolts that hold the headlight assembly in place.
Use a wrench to loosen and remove the bolts that hold the headlight assembly in place.
5. Carefully remove the headlight assembly from the car.
Once the bolts are removed, you can carefully remove the headlight assembly from the car. Be careful not to drop it.
6. Remove the old headlight bulb.
Once the headlight assembly is removed, you can remove the old headlight bulb. To do this, turn the bulb counterclockwise until it is released from the socket.
7. Insert the new headlight bulb.
Insert the new headlight bulb into the socket and turn it clockwise until it is secure.
8. Reinstall the headlight assembly.
Carefully reinstall the headlight assembly into the car. Make sure that the bolts are tightened securely.
9. Turn on the headlights to check that the new bulb is working properly.
Test the new bulb by turning on the headlights. If the bulb is working properly, you are finished.
10. Close the hood of your car.
