Where is the starter motor on a Renault Megan?

Renault Megane II

The starter motor on the Renault Megane II is located on the right-hand side of the engine compartment, behind the intake manifold. It is mounted to the transmission bell housing and is easily accessible for removal and replacement.

Renault Megane III

The Renault Megane III has the starter motor mounted on the left-hand side of the engine compartment, directly below the battery. It is also attached to the transmission bell housing and is easily accessible for removal and replacement.

Renault Megane IV

In the Megane IV, the starter motor is located in the same position as on the Megane III model, on the left-hand side of the engine compartment, below the battery. It is also attached to the transmission bell housing and is easily accessible for removal and replacement.
