Gather the necessary materials.
* - AUX cable (male-to-male)
* - Phillips head screwdriver
* - Flat head screwdriver
* - Wire stripper
* - Butt connectors
* - Heat shrink tubing
* - Electrical tape
Prepare the AUX cable.
* 1. Using the wire stripper, strip about 1/4 inch of insulation off each end of the AUX cable.
* 2. Twist the exposed wires together.
* 3. Solder the twisted wires together.
* 4. Cover the soldered connection with heat shrink tubing and then shrink the tubing using a heat gun.
Remove the center console.
* 1. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws holding the center console in place.
* 2. Use a flat head screwdriver to pry the center console up from the bottom.
* 3. Set the center console aside.
Find the CD changer connection.
* 1. Locate the CD changer in the glove box.
* 2. Disconnect the CD changer connector.
Connect the AUX cable to the CD changer connector.
* 1. Insert the AUX cable into the CD changer connector.
* 2. Make sure that the connection is secure.
Reinstall the center console.
* 1. Place the center console back into position.
* 2. Replace the screws that you removed in step 1.
Test the AUX input.
* 1. Connect an audio device to the AUX cable.
* 2. Turn on your Range Rover Sport HSE and select the AUX input.
* 3. You should now be able to hear the audio from your audio device through the speakers of your Range Rover Sport HSE.
