Step 1: Tighten the bolts to 20 Nm (15 lb-ft) in the sequence shown below.
Step 2: Tighten the bolts to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft) in the same sequence.
Step 3: Tighten the bolts to 60 Nm (45 lb-ft) in the same sequence.
Note: Do not exceed 60 Nm (45 lb-ft), as this could damage the cylinder head.
It is important to follow the correct torque sequence when tightening the cylinder head bolts. Failure to do so can result in uneven gasket compression and potential leaks.
