Locate the two Phillips-head screws that secure the mirror base to the windshield. They are located on the underside of the mirror base.
Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to loosen and remove the two screws.
Gently pry the mirror base up and away from the windshield. Be careful not to break the windshield.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the mirror.
Note the 2 wires that feed the defroster (if applicable) that are underneath the mirror and pull it free from the base. These will feed through your new mirror and may need to be reattached by twisting on the nut connector provided.
Remove the mirror from the vehicle.
To install the new rearview mirror, simply reverse the steps above. Be sure to tighten the screws securely to ensure the mirror is properly attached.
