1. Open the trunk of the vehicle.
2. Locate the two plastic trim pieces on the sides of the third brake light. These pieces are held in place with plastic clips.
3. Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry up on the clips and remove the trim pieces.
4. Once the trim pieces are removed, you will see the third brake light lens.
5. The third brake light lens is held in place with two screws. Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the screws.
6. Once the screws are removed, you can remove the third brake light lens from the vehicle.
7. Remove the old bulb from the third brake light housing.
8. Install the new bulb into the housing.
9. Reattach the third brake light lens to the vehicle.
10. Replace the screws and tighten them securely.
11. Reattach the trim pieces.
12. Close the trunk of the vehicle.
The third brake light should now be working properly.
