1. Remove the rear axle nut retaining washer and loosen the axle nut.
2. Support the rear wheel off the ground using jack stands.
3. Remove the caliper mounting bolts.
4. Remove the caliper from the rotor.
5. Remove the brake pads from the caliper.
6. Clean the caliper, pads and rotor with brake cleaner.
7. Reinstall the brake pads into the caliper.
8. Reinstall the caliper onto the rotor.
9. Reinstall the caliper mounting bolts and tighten to specifications.
10. Tighten the axle nut and secure with retaining washer.
Once you have removed the rear caliper, you can inspect it for damage and replace it if necessary.
