Here is a step-by-step guide to finding and using the drain plug:
1. Locate the oil tank. The oil tank is a large, cylindrical object located on the right side of the bike, just behind the cylinder head.
2. Find the drain plug at the bottom of the tank. The drain plug is a 17mm bolt located at the lowest point of the oil tank.
3. Place an oil pan under the drain plug. Make sure the pan is large enough to catch all of the oil that will drain out of the tank.
4. Remove the drain plug using a 17mm wrench. Be careful not to drop the drain plug into the oil pan.
5. Allow all of the oil to drain out of the tank. This may take a few minutes.
6. Replace the drain plug. Tighten the drain plug securely using the 17mm wrench.
7. Add new oil to the oil tank. The amount of oil you need to add will depend on the year and model of your Road Star. Refer to your owner's manual for the correct amount.
8. Start the bike and let it run for a few minutes. This will circulate the new oil throughout the engine.
9. Check the oil level. The oil level should be between the "full" and "add" marks on the dipstick.
10. You're done! Your Yamaha Road Star is now ready to ride.
