2. Disassembly

- Remove the choke cable from the carburetor.
- Disconnect fuel lines from the carburetor.
- Unscrew the bolts securing the carburetor to the intake manifold and remove the carburetor.
- Disassemble the carburetor by separating the float bowl, main body, and other components.
3. Cleaning
- Spray carburetor cleaner into all passages, jets, and ports to remove dirt, grime, and deposits.
- Use a soft brush to gently remove any stubborn dirt.
- Blow compressed air through the passages to ensure they are clear.
- Replace any damaged or worn gaskets and o-rings.
4. Reassembly
- Reassemble the carburetor by attaching the float bowl, main body, and other components.
- Make sure all parts are properly seated and sealed properly.
5. Installation
- Reverse the steps you followed for disassembly to reinstall the carburetor.
- Tighten the bolts securely, but be careful not to over-tighten.
- Reconnect the choke cable and fuel lines.
- Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
6. Testing
- Start the engine and allow it to warm up.
- Check for proper fuel flow by observing the fuel level in the float bowl.
- Check for leaks around the carburetor or fuel lines.
- Make adjustments as necessary, such as idle speed or fuel mixture, to ensure the carburetor is functioning properly.
