Where are grease fittings on 2001 polaris sportsman 500 ATV?

Front Wheel Hubs

The front wheel hubs have two grease fittings each. They are located on the outer side of the hub, near the top and bottom.

Rear Wheel Hubs

The rear wheel hubs have two grease fittings each. They are located on the outer side of the hub, near the top and bottom.

Front A-arms

The front A-arms have two grease fittings each. They are located on the top of the A-arm, near the pivot point.

Rear A-arms

The rear A-arms have two grease fittings each. They are located on the top of the A-arm, near the pivot point.

Steering Stem

The steering stem has one grease fitting. It is located on the bottom of the steering stem, near the tie rod ends.

Driveline

The driveline has two grease fittings. They are located on the driveshaft, near the front and rear differentials.

Swingarm

The swingarm has one grease fitting. It is located on the top of the swingarm, near the pivot point.

IMPORTANT: Make sure to use a high-quality grease that is compatible with your ATV. Polaris recommends using a grease that is rated for NLGI 2 or 3.
