There's no single "reset" button. Depending on what's wrong, you might try these things:
* Disconnect the battery: This is the most common "reset" for many car systems. Disconnect the negative (-) terminal of the battery for at least 30 minutes (some recommend up to an hour). This will allow any stored power in the modules to dissipate. Reconnect the battery and see if the problem is resolved. This will reset the ECM and other modules.
* Check for specific trouble codes: If you have a check engine light or other warning lights, you'll need to read the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs). You can do this with a scan tool (OBD-I scanner for Fieros). The codes will tell you more specifically what's wrong and whether a reset is even appropriate. Sometimes, a simple code clear (via the scan tool) is all that's needed.
* Troubleshooting specific problems: If you have a particular issue (e.g., stalling, erratic idle), resetting the ECM might not be the solution. The problem could be something else entirely that requires mechanical repair or replacement of a faulty component.
Important Note: The Fiero's electronic systems are relatively simple compared to modern cars but still require careful handling. If you're not comfortable working on cars, take it to a qualified mechanic. Improperly working on the car's electronics can cause further damage.
