The recommended tire pressure is always found in two places:
1. The sticker on the driver's side doorjamb: This sticker shows the recommended tire pressure for your specific vehicle's tires when the vehicle is properly loaded. This is the *most important* source of information.
2. The sidewall of the tire itself: The maximum pressure for *that specific tire* is printed on the sidewall. Never exceed this maximum pressure.
The pressure on the doorjamb sticker is a starting point. You might need to adjust it slightly based on the weight you're carrying. Overinflating or underinflating your tires can lead to poor handling, reduced fuel efficiency, and uneven tire wear. Always check your tire pressure when the tires are cold (before driving).
