1. Gather Tools and Materials:
- Jack and jack stands

- Wrench set

- New front axle
- New axle bearings (if needed)
- New axle seals (if needed)
2. Prepare the Vehicle:
- Park the vehicle on a level surface and apply the parking brake.
- Engage first gear or put the transmission in park (automatic transmission).
- Loosen the lug nuts on the front wheels, but do not remove them completely.
3. Raise the Vehicle:
- Use the jack and jack stands to safely lift the front end of the vehicle off the ground.
- Make sure that the vehicle is stable and secure before proceeding.
4. Remove the Wheels:
- Remove the lug nuts and take off the front wheels.
5. Remove the Brake Calipers:
- Unbolt the brake calipers and hang them out of the way, being careful not to damage the brake lines.

11. Install the New Axle:

12. Reinstall the Axle Nuts:
- Hand-tighten the axle nuts on both sides of the vehicle.
13. Reinstall the Ball Joints:
- Reattach the ball joints to the control arms.
14. Reinstall the Tie Rod Ends:
- Reattach the tie rod ends to the steering knuckles.
15. Install the Brake Calipers:
- Reattach the brake calipers to the rotors.
16. Reinstall the Wheels:
- Put the wheels back on and tighten the lug nuts.
17. Lower the Vehicle:
- Use the jack to slowly lower the vehicle until it is back on the ground.
18. Tighten the Lug Nuts:
- Tighten the lug nuts securely with a wrench.
19. Test the Steering and Brakes:
- Once the vehicle is back on the ground, check that the steering works smoothly and that the brakes are functioning properly.
20. Take for a Test Drive:
- Take the vehicle for a test drive to ensure that everything is working properly.
