1. Locate the door ajar sensor. It is usually located in the door jamb, near the latch.
2. Remove the screws holding the sensor in place.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the sensor.
4. Remove the sensor from the door jamb.
5. Install the new sensor in the reverse order of removal.
6. Test the sensor to make sure it is working properly.
