How do you change the passenger side head lite for Nissan Altima?

Tools

- Philips-head screwdriver

- Flathead screwdriver

- New headlight bulb (H11)

Instructions

1. Open the hood of your Altima.

2. Locate the headlight assembly on the passenger side. It is the large, round housing that contains the headlight bulb.

3. Remove the two Philips-head screws that hold the headlight assembly in place.

4. Once the screws are removed, you can pull the headlight assembly out of the housing.

5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the headlight assembly.

6. Use a flathead screwdriver to pry open the retaining clip that holds the headlight bulb in place.

7. Once the retaining clip is removed, you can pull the old headlight bulb out of the housing.

8. Insert the new headlight bulb into the housing and secure it with the retaining clip.

9. Reconnect the electrical connector to the back of the headlight assembly.

10. Insert the headlight assembly back into the housing and secure it with the two Philips-head screws.

11. Close the hood of your Altima.

Tips

- Be careful not to drop the headlight bulb. If it does drop, do not touch it with your bare hands. The oils on your skin can damage the bulb.

- If you are uncomfortable changing the headlight bulb yourself, you can take your car to a mechanic to have it done.
