Tools and Materials Needed:
- New cabin air filter (Honda part number 80292-SZA-A01)
- Phillips-head screwdriver
- Flashlight
Instructions:
1.Locate the cabin air filter housing.
It is located on the passenger side of the vehicle, behind the glove box.
2.Remove the glove box.
There are two Phillips-head screws that hold the glove box in place. Remove these screws and then carefully pull the glove box out.
3.Locate the cabin air filter cover.
It is a black plastic cover that is located inside the glove box housing.
4.Remove the cabin air filter cover.
There are two tabs on the cover that you need to press in order to remove it. Once you have released the tabs, pull the cover off.
5.Remove the old cabin air filter.
It is located inside the filter housing. Simply grab the filter and pull it out.
6.Inspect the old cabin air filter.
Look for any signs of dirt, debris, or damage. If the filter is dirty, it needs to be replaced.
7.Insert the new cabin air filter.
Make sure that the filter is inserted correctly, with the arrows pointing towards the front of the vehicle.
8.Replace the cabin air filter cover.
Press the cover into place until it clicks.
9.Reinstall the glove box.
Insert the glove box into the housing and then replace the two Phillips-head screws.
