Tools and Materials:
* New shocks
* Shock absorber mounting hardware
* Socket set
* Ratchet
* Torque wrench
* Pry bar
* Jack and jack stands
* Safety glasses
Instructions:
1. Park your vehicle on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
2. Raise the vehicle with a jack and support it on jack stands.
3. Locate the shock absorbers. The shock absorbers are typically located on the front and rear of the vehicle, near the wheels.
4. Remove the shock absorber mounting bolts. Use a socket set and ratchet to remove the shock absorber mounting bolts.
5. Remove the old shock absorbers. Use a pry bar to pry the old shock absorbers off the vehicle.
6. Install the new shock absorbers. Position the new shock absorbers in place and insert the mounting bolts.
7. Tighten the shock absorber mounting bolts. Use a torque wrench to tighten the shock absorber mounting bolts to the specified torque.
8. Lower the vehicle from the jack stands.
9. Repeat steps 3-8 for the other shock absorber.
10. Take your vehicle for a test drive to ensure the shocks are working properly.
